Dr Rashad Nawaz, is the only person that has my sons best interests at heart and listens to me and my child, regardless of what else is being said. Dr Nawaz has supported me at meetings and will go beyond his job for the sake of my child. His input and support has been greatly appreciated. I trust Dr Nawaz above the other institutions and professionals, he doesn't lie and will take all the information accumulated to reach the decisions needed.

My wife and I visited Dr.Nawaz with our 5year old son. Dr.nawaz was wonderful with our child, he felt so relaxed and comfortable around him. He is very knowledgable and very easy to talk to we never felt like we were being rushed. I would most defnatley recommend Dr.nawaz to any parent looking for a good consultant for their child. Thank you dr.nawaz for caring and understanding everything. The best doctor we have ever come across.

Dr Nawaz was the light at the end of the tunnel for us. Our daughter has some complex issues and our GP referred us to CAMHS. CAMHS refused to see her twice, these rejections wasted 6 months of our time. We got to see Dr Nawaz and weren't really sure what to expect. HE WAS AMAZING! He listened to us and our daughter, was understanding and empathetic and because we were so well prepared he was able to diagnose our daughter fairly quickly. He is very knowledgeable. He met with her teacher & SENCO at school and it was mentioned by SENCO that he is the only pediatrician that ever comes into school the rest just write letters. He quickly follows up the appointment with a letter to all concerned and everything discussed is always covered. I cant recommend him enough. What a nice man he is too! I also have to mention how helpful his secretary Jill Teesdale is too.

Dr Nawaz has always been very welcoming and friendly which makes appointments with my son much less stressful. My son has autism and Dr Nawaz knows how to talk to him and even lets him play on his ipad so I have chance to talk! Dr Nawaz is always happy to answer our questions and has helped us reach decisions about what is best for our son regarding schooling, medication etc. When there is any problem with my son he is always calm, matter of fact and is happy to take our feelings and opinions of other professionals into account. Dr Nawaz offers to see us in between appointments if we are struggling with anything and he never rushes us out of our appointment although we probably do take up more time than we should! We always receive a written report too after each appointment so we understand what happens next. We always look forward to seeing Dr Nawaz to ask his opinion on things and hope our son stays under his care.

My husband and I visited Dr Nawaz with our three year old son yesterday following a GP referral. Not only did the appointment come through very fast, Dr Nawaz is certainly an expert on child paediatrics. We felt educated after our consultation, as every area of his development was discussed and he engaged very well with our son (a rarity with some consultants). It was great to see a doctor explain things clearly without the use of medical jargon. Ultimately very happy we have the support of Dr Nawaz as parents and will be returning to see him in 6 months time. Keep up the fantastic work Dr you are an asset to the NHS :-) Kind regards Rachel Vose
